A Cozy Bucks County Thanksgiving

Our executive chef David has created an exquisite holiday menu which includes traditional favorites as well as a few surprises.

Enjoy our four-course prix fixe menu in one of our inviting dining rooms or, weather permitting, outside. Surround yourself with the historic charm of our warm Fieldstone Room or dine in the sunlight-filled Solarium overlooking beautiful Delaware Canal views as you make new memories with your loved ones.

Savor The Fall Flavors

Just as the outdoor temperatures begin to dip, and the leaves are beginning to drift down, Chef David Kane has launched our new fall menu at the Inn. Embrace the transformation of the seasons with our freshly revamped selections, featuring new autumnal dishes that will warm you up on crisp fall evenings.

Begin your meal with a carefully curated cocktail or spectacular glass of wine from our extensive seasonal list. Pair your drink of choice with our new Beet Salad, featuring tender marinated red and yellow beets, arugula, creamy whipped goat cheese, and crunchy pistachio brittle. Continue to prepare your appetite with our new Butternut Squash Pancake accented with sage brown butter, kabocha squash, porcini mushrooms, and pumpkin seed brittle.

For those partial to choices sourced from the land, there is the Grilled Duroc Porkchop or Roast Duck. For those who prefer the sea, we have several new creations including our chef’s Trout Meunière, our Brandade Crusted Cod, or Diver Scallops.

With so many new delicious options, guests will desire to visit us several times to try all of our spectacular dining options.

A Roasted Delight of the Earth

Roasted Mushroom FlatbreadAs the golden leaves drift off the trees and cascade downwards onto the canal path, our Fall Menu has arrived with quite a stir inside. While the entire menu is certain to please your palette, guests will unmistakably delight in the earthy delicious of our featured fall menu dish: the Roasted Mushroom Flatbread.

The roasted mushrooms for our flatbread come directly from a quaint family owned mushroom farm called Primordia, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of eastern Pennsylvania. Their farmers work year round growing a diverse quality of indoor mushrooms, as well as foraging for wild local mushrooms. Inspired by the farmers’ mission of providing beautiful and interesting healthy foods, our chef was also impressed by the superior variety of their locally harvested mushrooms, and thoughtfully incorporated them into our menu.

The sophistication and depth of natural flavors offered by the roasted Maitake and Pioppino mushrooms, coupled with a blend of creamy fromage blanc and comte, will melt in your mouth as the house baked flatbread offers the perfect crisp complement. As you take a bite from the flatbread, it is easy to imagine the gentle crunch of the crust as the crunch of leaves underfoot on the autumn mountainside; the sound of the foragers walking through the forest, searching for the beautiful tendrils of wild mushrooms delivered from nature to your plate.

We are now serving the delightful weekend indulgence of Brunch. Enjoy the crisp autumn weather on our canal-side patio or dine indoors as the golden sunshine of fall pours in through the inn’s windows.

Relax and raise a toast to the weekend as you savor the amazing delicacies our culinary team has dreamt up for you. Our Brunch menu offers an incredible selection of soups, salads, entrees, and desserts. Whether you are desiring oysters, quiche, or brioche french toast, you will not be disappointed. Of course, our specialty cocktails and extensive wine list are designed to complement our delicious menu.

Dining Safety

Relax and take a moment to savor one-of-a-kind canal-side dining, warm hospitality, and French-inspired cuisine. Please call early for a reservation as our space is limited. Our team has made thorough preparations, taking every precaution to ensure a safe environment for dining and accommodations as we all look to a clear path forward.

We have amazing outdoor dining spaces and, weather permitting, will do our best to accommodate you. While we do have heaters, it can still get quite chilly so be sure to dress appropriately.
