There are tow paths on both sides of the Delaware River that run from Frenchtown, New Jersey to Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania (approximately 25 miles). Both paths are designated state parks which pass through lovely picturesque scenery. The path on the NJ side is made from compacted quarry grit and blacktop, providing good bicycle surface. The path on the PA side is compacted dirt and rocky, making it more suited to mountain biking. The Golden Pheasant Inn located on the PA side tow path. The NJ path can be accessed 2.5 miles north of The Golden Pheasant Inn at Frenchtown, NJ.
